Meet Forest Lakes Stardust Legacy in Diamonds “Dusty”

We are proud to introduce Forest Lakes Stardust Legacy in Diamonds, known as “Dusty,” a sparkling star of our April 2024 litter. Littermate to CeCe, Dusty has already made a dazzling impression in the show ring, and she’s just getting started!

At only 14 weeks old, Dusty stepped into the spotlight and stole the show. Competing as the youngest puppy in a large class, she captured Reserve Best Puppy in Show at her very first event. The following show, she continued to impress by earning a Best Puppy in Show. The judge commended Dusty’s exceptional underjaw, a hallmark of our bloodline. After her initial successes, Dusty partnered with our son, Travis, for her next outing. Together, they achieved yet another Reserve Best Puppy in Show, demonstrating Dusty’s adaptability and charm under different handlers. We couldn’t be more proud of this dynamic duo!

Dusty carries forward some of the finest qualities from her lineage. She  inherited her grandfather Romeo’s remarkable chest and tail set/carriage, contributing to her elegant silhouette and confident presence in the ring. From her father Deacon, Dusty boasts a gregarious and friendly temperament, a thick and luxurious coat, and a joyfully outgoing nature that makes her a standout both in and out of the ring.

Dusty’s Latest Success

On March 15, Dusty earned her UKC Championship title in style—winning Best of Breed and taking a Group 1 placement! This achievement is a testament to her structure, movement, and the incredible bond she shares with her handlers. We’re beyond excited to see how far this girl will go!

What’s Next for Dusty?

Now sporting the stylish continental trim, Dusty (and CeCe) and littermates celebrated their first birthday in April. She’ll continue to strut her stuff in the ring this summer—joining our other dogs in the competitive Champion class as her story unfolds.

Follow along as Dusty adds new chapters to her already impressive legacy. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates, photos, and show results. This little gem is one to watch!
