Rhett came to us from Sapphire Poodles in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain region of Virginia. We are blessed to be co-owners of this kind-hearted boy!

From his breeder: Rhett’s first conformation show was on September 17th, 2021 . He was 7 months 10 days old. Less than a month later, on October 10 he was a Grand Champion at the age of 8 months, and after only 3 weekends of shows. He really sailed through those two conformation titles.  He loves to show.  I’m very proud of this boy.

  • UKC Grand Champion at 8 months of age
  • Best of Breed winner at 8 months
  • Group placement at 8 months
  • AKC CGC and CGCA title
  • AKC Trick Novice title
  • UKC SPOT-ON title

Rhett is the epitome of sweetness and affection. This lovable boy has a heart full of love to give, and his hugs are simply the best! Rhett’s nature is tailored for spreading love, and he effortlessly gets along with everyone – whether it’s cats, dogs, or people. When it comes to playtime, Rhett’s favorites include tug toys, engaging in spirited tug-of-war matches, and chasing after balls, especially tennis balls! is the sweetest boy ever and he gives the best hugs! He was made to give love and gets along with everybody – cats, dogs, people! Rhett loves tug toys and playing tug, he also likes balls – especially tennis balls!

Currently, Rhett is actively training in nose work and recently completed the path to becoming a certified therapy dog. His journey has already revealed his remarkable ability as a quick learner and his unwavering desire to please. In the realm of canine sports, Rhett has showcased his prowess by earning his BCAT in FastCAT in two weekends and his DASH in just one weekend. In 2022 he attended an enriching four-day scent workshop, further honing his skills.

Additionally, this summer, Rhett delved into the world of dock diving lessons, and it quickly became evident that he’ll go to great lengths to retrieve a tennis ball, displaying boundless enthusiasm for this aquatic sport. As we look ahead, our plans include introducing Rhett to the world of Rally and Agility, among other activities, to discover even more of his interests and talents. With Rhett, the possibilities are boundless, and his zest for life is truly infectious.

In July 2023, Rhett ventured into weight pull and earned two qualifying legs. At the next opportunity in October, he earned his first weight pull title! A big thank you goes to the All American Bulldog Club for hosting these events!

I am delighted to announce that Rhett has achieved remarkable results in all aspects of his health testing, solidifying his status as a paragon of health and genetic diversity. Rhett underwent a battery of tests, including DNA screening for genetic diseases, OFA cardiac evaluations, and OFA eye examinations, all of which he passed with flying colors.  Rhett’s hip health is better than breed average of 0.47 at 0.38 and 0.45. What sets Rhett apart even further is his status as a genetic outlier, highlighting his extraordinary genetic diversity compared to the average poodle. Rhett’s outstanding health and genetic profile exemplify our dedication to producing robust and genetically diverse standard poodles, making him a standout in our breeding program.

Rhett is offered at stud to select females.
